Some of the more commonly treated disorders by podiatrists include bunions, hammertoes, ingrown and infected toenails, fungal infections, ulcers, arthritis, fractures, sprains, warts, heel pain and conditions related to diabetes and poor circulation. In-office surgical procedures may be performed under local anesthesia, and/or in conjunction with mild sedation. More involved procedures may be done at a local hospital on an out-patient basis. If you have any questions concerning surgical care, Dr. Hilbert will gladly discuss them with you. Foot and ankle x-rays are also performed in the office.
